\"Dementia\" is the most common reason for requiring long-term care.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

It is expected that by 2040, about one in three of the elderly aged 65 and over will have dementia or mild cognitive impairment (MCI), which is the stage before dementia. In June 2023, the \"Basic Law on Dementia to Promote the Realization of a Coexisting Society\" was passed and enacted, clearly stating that the government aims to create a society in which people with dementia can live their daily lives with hope.<\/span><\/p>

Care Show Japan aims to create a society in which people can live comfortably even with dementia by presenting the latest information on dementia and introducing products and services that support the co-existence with and prevention of dementia.<\/span><\/p>

The place to educate and raise awareness about dementia<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Dementia is an issue that is attracting attention not only in Japan but also in the world. However, events related to dementia in Japan are limited to academic conferences, academic meetings, or small events organized by local governments. Dementia can affect anyone, and the need for caregivers arises when one person develops dementia, leading to various problems such as increased physical and financial burdens on the family, caregiver turnover and its impact on economic growth, etc. Care Show Japan is committed to making dementia an issue of greater concern to the public.<\/span><\/p>

Care Show Japan will focus on \"Dementia Prevention and Care\" as a special program to help more people face issues related to dementia.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p><\/div>
